Ninjavideo is claiming that this new helper should provide 'instant and super fast buffering.' There are still many bugs with this new version. Ninjavideo is now claiming that you must wait a certain amount of time between entering the captcha and actually pressing play. It is important to wait this period before pressing play, otherwise the video will not work.
Probably the biggest disappointment with the new helper is what seems to be the disappearance of the grey download link that used to be in the upper left corner of videos. This used to be a great and hassle free way of downloading movies for viewing later. Upon first inspection upon the site after the update, it seems that this link is gone. It is still available in some of the video pages, however, it is not available on the test video page for the new helper. Hopefully, this is only a glitch and will not be a new adoption.
The site is just getting more stupid every time,Apart from their stupid admin and mods you also have to type a code and wait 10 seconds and then wait for the video to slowly buffer for hours if its working because most of them arent,also you are probably getting set up by a massive attack on every laame person that decided to trust them withe their stupid applet. Probably planted a virus on you allready that is taking a nap waiting for the right moment to attack.

ReplyDeleteThis site isnt what it used to be, i used to be able to watch or download movies/tv shows i cant even do it now cause they take the damn shits down an hour or a day later fucking frustrating. Then i have to listen to this bitch Phara who thinks she is changing the world buy stealing shit and giving it to us free. She basically cried on their podcast about britney spears being famous, cmon bitch get a life your a nobody and you have no voice that lowkey shit is bullshit i dont give a fuck about palestine i wanna watch fucking tv. ReplyDeleteI totally agree. I used to donate the first couple months they came out. But after seeing the way they treat people, I just can't. I then asked around and read a lot on other forums and found out Phara and a the founding mods were kicked out of Alluc for being immature and spamming on their site. After talking to some of the admins at alluc, they sent me some links of pictures of Phara and omg, this chick is like 300 lbs. of ego. Can't believe a person like this thinks so highly of herself. Diet much? As you can see she only posts headshots of herself on her site(which is how i know the pic I saw was really her). Wonder why? It's funny how people kiss her ass so much they flame anyone who talks the truth to her, like ask why she treats people so terrible. More brown nosing going on there than anywhere on the net. She like the Soup Nazi of video sites. And my guess on the applet they use is probably a proxy of somesort so not to get caught. Well, they host their content, which unlike most others that post links to content. Which will be their downfall. She really really gives video sites a bad name with her attitude. I'm surprised you don't have tons of her brown nose cronies on here flaming you for telling it like it is. If you go on OVguide's site and look at NV's comments, you can really see the amount of others who feel the same. Also, if you go on Norton's sitechecker site, they list them as being unsafe with malware. It's their redirect ads that aren't safe. Also, that Lowkey anti-semetic hater that they promote is a poser. He says how he went to a Palestine refuge camp in Israel and saw all this tragic stuff there. No way would the Israelis allow a wanna be rapper into a refuge camp. No way! So just shows that most of his other stuff is lies. Then you have the fact that only about 60% of their vids work properly, you're left with a waste of server space and bandwidth. I just use OVGuide to search for vids and stay away from NV, I won't make them money, I was already stupid enough to shell out over 100 to them once. Keep up the vigilance on here, I'm glad you made this site. People who don't venture into their hateful forums need to know. But it does spill onto the mainsite. The douche who write the non-witty quips under the video links is killing the site and doing a good job for you ;) Who cares what he thinks about a show. Jeez. Oh, another thing I heard is that Marvel is starting a lawsuit against them after they made comics available to DL. I hope it does through. We can only hope. Peace!!

It makes a big difference to other readers when they hear of other peoples problems and putting up ways of dealing with getting videos from sites other than NinjaVideo could be helpful to some looking for an alternative.

I am intending on posting them on this site so that people can see what the real Phara looks like. Hopefully, having her pics put up online will go a large way towards humbling her. ReplyDeleteFor god's sake, all it does is login to a PAID account in megaupload, and then stream the videos direct from there via the localhost (your computer).
There is nothing 'mystical' about it. Also, if you know how to use applets, you can use it to download anything from megaupload as if you had a paid account there. Not too bad actually.
